EPDM Rubber O Ring
EPDM o rings have excellent resistance to ozone, weathering and sunlight. They have good heat resistance, low compression set and good flexibility at low temperatures
EPDM o-ring compounds also withstand the effects of brake fluids, Skydrol, and hydraulic fluids. EPDM o-rings are not recommended for gasoline, petroleum oilm grease, and hydrocarbon environments
Advantages
• Excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
• Resistant to steam, alkalis, polar solvent
• Resistant to ketones, hot & cold water
• Good heat & compression resistance
• Resistant to ozone, sunlight, alcohol
• Good flexibility at low temperatures
Application
• Water applications and low torque drive belts
• Outdoor weather resistant uses
• Automotive cooling systems
• Automotive brake systems
• Hot water applications
• Steam., etc
