Silicon Rubber O Ring
Silicone o-rings offer wide temperature ranges and low temperature flexibility. Silicone is renowned for its retention of flexibility and low compression set characteristics. Silicone also has one of the widest working temperature ranges for elastomers. Silicone O-rings also have good heat resistance, cold flexibility and insulating properties.
Not recommended for dynamic O-ring sealing applications. As its low tear strength and high coefficient of friction. Silicone also does not perform well with Concentrated acids, fuels, gear Oils, ketones, steam., etc
